William Anderson

President and CEO

Bill Anderson's dedication to providing outstanding patient care brought him to Regency Hospital Company in 2007 as President and CEO. Bill has spent over 30 years in leadership roles throughout the healthcare industry leading, developing and operating various facilities and companies to great success. He most recently served as the Division President for Triad Hospitals and is on the Board of Governors with the Federation of American Hospitals.

Rod Laughlin

Vice Chairman

Rod Laughlin's passion for patient care led him to found Regency Hospital Company in 2001. His 30 years of healthcare leadership have been spent developing and operating community, psychiatric and LTAC hospitals throughout the country. As founder of the Long Term Acute Care Hospital Association of America, he testified before the U.S. Congress Ways and Means committee on Medicare reform.

Debi Hinson

Vice President, Compliance / Chief Compliance Officer

Debi Hinson comes to Regency with many years of experience in health care regulatory compliance working in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. She holds numerous compliance and clinical credentials and Regency is fortunate to have her as the vice president of compliance and chief compliance officer. Before coming to Regency, Ms. Hinson served in chief compliance and privacy officer positions at Piedmont Healthcare and Gwinnett Health System and has also worked in her early career as a registered respiratory therapist.

Ms. Hinson has developed a variety of compliance risk assessment and monitoring tools that have been published and adopted by other health care organizations across the country. She is recognized locally and nationally, authoring several articles in compliance and privacy publications. Ms. Hinson earned an MBA from Mercer University, a BSBA from Shorter College and an AAS from Central Piedmont College.

Leslie Boney

Vice President, Business Development

Leslie Boney’s decades of healthcare experience help her bring RHC and host hospitals together. Beginning in physician practice management, her experiences have included rehabilitation facilities, subacute and home healthcare. Prior to joining the Regency team, She most recently served as director of business development for Kindred Hospitals, establishing LTAC hospitals and pulmonary units for the company.

Anne Mullendore

Senior Vice President, Purchasing Materials Management

Anne Mullendore’s 25 years in healthcare have taught her the importance of high quality equipment for high acuity patients. Prior to joining Regency, she owned her own company providing purchasing and materials management to LTAC hospitals. She has served at the senior executive level for purchasing and materials in healthcare corporations since 1971.

Janet Rail

Vice President, Clinical Operations and Project Implementation

Janet Rail, RN, is an experienced clinical leader who is passionate about producing the best clinical LTAC model in the country. Janet has over 18 years experience in the LTAC industry, specifically in senior clinical leadership roles. She served as a hospital director of clinical services with Transitional Hospitals Corporation and as chief operations officer with Kindred Hospital of New Orleans. In her role as vice president of clinical services for Regency, Janet works closely with Regency hospitals' clinical services directors, quality management and case managers. She is responsible for the clinical program throughout Regency’s network of hospitals, and will continue to find ways to improve and build upon the existing clinical programs, producing superior patient outcomes.

George Bruton

Vice President, Construction and Design

George Bruton knows hospitals inside and out. After 24 years as a contractor specializing in healthcare, he served as vice president of construction and development for Transitional Hospitals Corporation. Now with Regency, he brings his quarter-century of experience to benefit our patients.

Micah Laughlin

Vice President, Information Technology

Micah Laughlin comes to Regency with over 13 years of dynamic achievements and proven strength in technology operations and infrastructure in the healthcare industry. His broad scope of experience includes strategic planning, business development, resource and IT management and network and system architecture and design. Mr. Laughlin has successfully designed and implemented a highly scalable IT infrastructure to support Regency’s rapid company growth, and as Vice President of Information Services, he oversees all aspects of the company’s information management.

Prior to joining Regency, Mr. Laughlin served as Vice President of Information Systems for Physician Health Corporation where he directed all aspects of IT operations, including application development, security, disaster recovery and regulatory compliance. Mr. Laughlin also served with Jennings, Ryan & Kolb, a healthcare management consultancy, where he conducted extensive quantitative analysis on strategic and financial planning engagements with a variety of healthcare clients and with Transitional Hospitals Corporation (THC) where he spearheaded the development of its clinical outcomes program.

Mr. Laughlin earned his BBA in Management and his MBA in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University.

M. Raymond Alvarez

Vice President, Regional Operations

M. Raymond Alvarez had over 20 years experience in a vice president or chief operations officer role in acute care hospitals and a total of 31 years in leadership positions in rural, urban and tertiary health care settings prior to joining Regency in 2005. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, has a master's degree in public administration and is currently completing his doctorate in hospital administration. He has served as an adjunct professor for health programs at two major universities and several colleges. He has authored numerous articles in health care journals as well as historical publications. In 2003 he was a finalist for the Quorum of Excellence Award and in 2005 received the West Virginia Regents Award from ACHE for contributions to community health and innovative statewide programs using Internet technologies for tobacco use reduction and health career exploration for high school students.
