Regency Hospital of Meridian combines the specialized expertise of a large hospital with the personalized attention of a smaller setting.
Occasionally, patients in the hospital have a need for a longer acute care stay due to their illness, multiple injuries, trauma, or medical complications. The unique medical needs of these types of patients require more intensive, focused hospital care for optimal recovery. Regency Hospitals are designed specifically to meet the needs of these types of extended acute care patients.
Regency Hospital of Meridian provides services to medically complex patients who have suffered recent catastrophic illnesses or injuries and require an extended length of stay in an acute care environment. We welcome your inquiries about admission criteria and services provided. Our pre-admission staff are registered nurses who provide screening assessments at no cost.
Patients who come to our hospital are cared for by a team of highly trained medical professionals who collaborate and coordinate the services provided in a caring, yet highly technical environment. Our goal is to meet the needs of each patient while involving families in both care and outcomes.
In addition to medical care and treatment, Regency Hospital of Meridian provides supportive care to patients and families, including discharge planning, social services, pastoral counseling and family consultation.
Each patient is also assigned a case manager who will guide their case from admission through discharge. The case manager is available to answer questions, assist with insurance and to plan a safe, timely and appropriate discharge. Regency Hospitals are Medicare certified and accredited by the Joint Commission. We participate with most major health insurers.
We are located on the 2nd floor(s) of Anderson South Campus, which allows us seamless transition of patients.
