Regency Hospitals: We make recovery possible

At Regency Hospital, our goal is to help patients with medically complex conditions continue their recovery so they can regain their quality of life. Physician-led, interdisciplinary care teams support that recovery by developing a customized treatment plan that helps patients breathe, eat, walk, talk and think again.

Our Mission

Regency Hospital is committed to providing an exceptional patient care experience that promotes healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

What is a critical illness recovery hospital?

We are a hospital where chronically, critically ill patients heal and recover.

Like your loved one, our patients are facing serious medical condition(s), trauma or intensive care and require an extended hospital stay.

Physician-led, multidisciplinary care teams support that recovery by developing a customized treatment plan that helps patients breathe, eat, walk, talk and think again.

Following are many of the medically complex conditions we treat:

  • Pulmonary /ventilator liberation
  • Neurological disorders
  • Cardiac conditions
  • Renal disorders
  • Infectious disease
  • Post-trauma care/traumatic brain injury
  • Surgical complications
  • Orthopedic care
  • Wound care

Did you know?

Patients on Prolonged Mechanical Ventilation (PMV) who discharge to a skilled nursing facility are twice as likely to transfer back to the hospital as those transferred to a critical illness recovery hospital, according to research*.
