Dr. Wassim Shwaiki, Medical Director
Dr. Wassim Shwaiki is the medical director of Regency Hospital Northwest Indiana. In this role since 2014, he oversees clinical policies and procedures.
Dr. Shwaiki specializes in pulmonary critical care medicine. He has spent 14 years with Community and St. Catherine Hospitals in the Community Healthcare system.
He received a medical degree from Syria’s Damascus University, Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Shwaiki completed an internal medicine residency and pulmonary critical care fellowship at the University of Connecticut.
