Dr. Basem Haddad, Medical Director

Dr. Basem Haddad is the medical director of Regency Hospital Cleveland West.  In this role, he oversees patient safety and quality outcomes.

Additionally, Dr. Haddad is section chief of pulmonary and critical medicine at Lutheran and Fisher-Titus hospitals. He also has experience in pulmonary, sleep and critical care medicine with Premier Physicians Centers in Westlake.

Dr. Haddad is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonary disease, critical care and sleep medicine. 

A graduate of Damascus University, he completed an internal medicine residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He earned a pulmonary and sleep medicine fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and critical care medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.

Prior to pursuing his fellowship in 2003, he worked as a hospitalist for the Cleveland Clinic’s Lutheran Hospital and internist at MetroHealth’s (Cleveland) West Park Hospital.
